UFC on ESPN 66 video: Jaqueline Amorim wraps up, taps Polyana Viana

At UFC on ESPN 66 in Kansas City, Mo., Jaqueline Amorim handed Polyana Viana her third consecutive loss.

Jaqueline Amorim showed everyone why she entered her fight against Polyana Viana at UFC on ESPN 66 as a massive favorite.

Amorim (10-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) is rapidly becoming one of the most feared finishers in the strawweight division. In what was her fourth consecutive finish, Amorim tapped Viana (13-8 MMA, 4-7 UFC) at 1:49 of Round 2 with a tight rear-naked choke. The fight took place at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo.

The first round was one-way traffic. Amorim scored an early takedown and controlled the fight on the ground until the break. In Round 2, Amorim picked up right where she left off, finding a relatively easy path to a rear-naked choke to force Viana to quickly tap.

Amorim has now finished four opponents in a row. Montserrat Conejo Ruiz, Cory McKenna, Vanessa Demopoulos and now Viana were all stopped early, the latter three by submission. During her post fight interview, Amorim explained how she always hunts for a finish, and asked the UFC matchmakers for a matchup against a top 15 opponent next.

On the flip side, Viana has now been finished in her last three fights, all in the second round. Her last victory came by first-round TKO stoppage over Jinh Yu Frey in November 22.
