Burnley have signed goalkeeper Etienne Green for an undisclosed fee on a three-year deal from Ligue 1 side Saint-Etienne.
The 24-year-old former England Under-21 international grew up in France and came through Saint-Etienne’s academy system.
He signed his first professional deal with the club in 2020 having previously played for their B team and later won two under-21 caps for England.
Green joins the Clarets having made 35 appearances in France’s top flight over the past four years.
He is the second goalkeeper Burnley have signed this summer after Vaclav Hladky joined from Ipswich Town in July.
Green’s arrival at Turf Moor means he is the sixth signing the club have made since their relegation from the Premier League last term.
