The initial US LBM Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports has been released, and Auburn is on the outside looking in.
The Tigers will kick off the season in the “receiving votes” category after receiving 25 votes. Auburn is one of 12 SEC teams to earn at least one vote in the debut poll for the 2024 season.
Auburn football will play six teams recognized by the US LBM Coaches Poll, including five in the top 25. Auburn will face four straight ranked teams beginning Sept. 28 at home against Oklahoma (No. 16). The Tigers will then battle three ranked teams: Georgia (No. 1), Missouri (No. 11), and Kentucky (RV) all on the road.
Auburn will close the 2024 regular season by facing Texas A&M (No. 20) and Alabama (No. 5) in November.
