SEC Media Days open from Dallas on Monday, with LSU, South Carolina, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt speaking to the media after Commissioner Greg Sankey’s opening press conference.
The four teams are spread across the board in terms of expectations. Ole Miss returns a good bit of production from its team in 2023, which went 11-2. LSU had a disappointing 2023 and may be a year away from true CFP contention. South Carolina went 5-7 last season and needs a bounce back season in Shane Beamer’s fourth season. Vanderbilt was 2-10 in 2023 after the strong November finish in 2022.
The four-day event is a full day from Monday through Thursday with Oklahoma (Tuesday) and Texas (Wednesday) joining the league.
