Who is the top offensive player in the Clarksville area entering the 2024 TSSAA football season? Here’s your chance to vote.
The poll will close at noon on Thursday. You can read about each candidate and vote below. All statistics are from the 2023 season.
Reed Bryant, Rossview, Sr.: The Hawks’ quarterback completed 58 of 96 passes for 790 yards and 12 touchdowns to four interceptions. He also gained 117 yards on 26 rushing attempts.
Jakoby Cox, Kenwood, Sr.: Cox completed 100 of 239 passes for 1,261 yards and eight touchdowns to five interceptions and ran for 410 yards and eight touchdowns on 78 yards. He was named second team All-Area at quarterback.
James Dalrymple, Clarksville, Sr.: Dalrymple ran for 1,175 yards and 18 touchdowns on 131 carries. He also threw for 122 yards and three touchdowns and was named first-team All-Area as an athlete.
Ahmoyre Galbreath, Clarksville, Sr.: Galbreath rushed for 866 yards and 13 touchdowns on 108 carries. The running back was named the Leaf-Chronicle All-Area Player of the Year.
Gavyn Hunter, Kirkwood, Sr.: Hunter caught 44 passes for 739 yards and five touchdowns. The first-team All-Area wide receiver totaled 1,073 all-purpose yards and seven touchdowns.
Preston Mitchell, Houston County, Jr.: Mitchell ran for 821 yards and 11 touchdowns on 124 carries, totaled 1,388 all-purpose yards and was named second-team All-Area at running back.
Jacaryous Perryman, Fort Campbell, Jr.: Perryman completed 90 of 170 passes for 1,362 yards and 18 touchdowns to nine interceptions while adding 326 yards and eight touchdowns on 87 carries. He was named first-team All-Area at quarterback.
Miles Reding, Kirkwood, So.: Reding completed 93 of 216 passes for 1,175 yards and 16 touchdowns to five interceptions at Todd County Central (Kentucky). He also ran for 631 yards and 10 touchdowns on 100 carries.
