United States defender Tim Ream has left Fulham to join Major League Soccer side Charlotte FC.
Ream, 32, spent nine seasons at Fulham and made a total of 312 appearances.
He was part of the USA team at the 2022 World Cup and started all four of their matches, while he also started all of their games at this summer’s Copa America.
The centre-back – who has signed a contract until 2026 at Charlotte with an option for a further year – said he was “no longer a player but will always be a fan” of Fulham.
“The memories made, the connections formed, and the people met along the way have made my time at Fulham more than special,” Ream said.
Ream won promotion from the Championship three times with the west London side following a move from Bolton in 2015.
