The UFC continues to build the card for its return to Mexico.

On March 29 at Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Kelvin Gastelum will return to action to face Joe Pyfer in a middleweight contest at UFC on ESPN 64. Pfyer confirmed the matchup on Instagram, and MMA Junkie confirmed the news with a source familiar with the booking following a first report MMA Mania.

Gastelum (19-9 MMA, 13-9 UFC) will look to keep the momentum going following a unanimous decision win over Daniel Rodriguez at UFC on ABC 6 on June 22.

Pyfer (13-3 MMA, 4-1 UFC) is also coming off a victory from June. “Bodybagz” lived up to his nickname against Marc-Andre Barriault, finishing the fight by knockout in 85 seconds. Pyfer earned his third Performance of the Night bonus for the highlight moment.

With the addition, the UFC on ESPN 64 lineup includes:

  • Kelvin Gastelum vs. Joe Pyfer

  • Edgar Chairez vs. CJ Vergara

  • Kevin Borjas vs. Ronaldo Rodriguez

  • Dione Barbosa vs. Yazmin Jauregui
