LAS VEGAS – [autotag]Raul Rosas Jr.[/autotag] has never stepped foot inside Sphere, which will make his UFC 306 experience more memorable.
Rosas Jr. (9-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) faces Aori Qileng (25-11 MMA, 3-3 UFC) at the Mexican Independence Day-themed event on Sept. 14, and is excited to get to work.
“I’ve never been inside the Sphere, but I’ve heard a lot of good things about it,” Rosas Jr. told reporters during a UFC 306 open workout media scrum. “So, I’m excited that the first time I’m going to be in the Sphere is when I’m in that cage fighting. So, I’m excited, you know? And I’m blessed. I’m blessed to be here.”
There’s a lot of competition for eyes across combat sports that weekend, but Rosas Jr. can only do so much about that. For fans that are wondering where to tune in, Rosas Jr. promises to deliver fireworks as he looks to finish his opponent.
“I trust my skillset and I’m always going to go out there and perform,” Rosas said. “I’m a showman too, as well as I perform. I’m going to put on a show for the people.”
