Teenager Moore scores winner for Spurs in Tokyo

Mikey Moore is congratulated by team-mates after scoring

Teenager Mikey Moore scored a late winner as Tottenham overcame Japanese champions Vissel Kobe 3-2 in a pre-season friendly in Tokyo.

The 16-year-old winger produced an 88th-minute finish from close range to clinch victory for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Son Heung-min had given Tottenham the lead in the second half before Vissel Kobe drew level just after the hour mark when Jean Patric fired past Brandon Austin.

Earlier, Pedro Porro latched on to Dejan Kulusevski‘s clever backheel to cancel out Vissel Kobe’s opener through Yuya Osako.

Spurs will resume their pre-season campaign against K League All-Stars on Wednesday when they move into captain Son’s home country South Korea.

They will then face Bayern Munich, who will be without former Spurs forward Harry Kane, on 3 August in Seoul.
