Recruiting for Captain Shreve football’s Tre Fuller is heating up to double-digit offers

When it comes to roaming the defensive secondary and cracking down on would be wide receivers, not many do it better than Captain Shreve’s Tre Fuller.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound safety has the world at his feet thanks to his ability to cover and hit with authority. The senior currently holds offers from Missouri, Mississippi State, Florida State, Louisiana Tech, Houston and Colorado among others.

And he knows exactly what he’s looking for in a college.

“A home. When you enter a school, you should already have an idea of what you want,” Fuller said.

Fuller joins Parkway’s Carmaro Mayo and Benton’s Miller Malley to give Shreveport-Bossier some of the best defensive backs in the state.

The Gators open their 2024 season, their first under coach Jeremy Wilburn, Sept. 6 against Ouachita Parish in Lee Hedges Stadium.

A three-star recruit, Fuller is currently Louisiana’s No. 30 overall recruit per 247Sports. He’s been taking steps this summer to improve that status.

“I hired a trainer and just overall been working my butt off,” Fuller said.

He has visited Colorado and Florida State unofficially, but says he won’t be taking additional visits until later in the year. He plans to narrow down his list of at least 13 official collegiate offers, or verbally commit, “probably towards the end of the season,” he said.

Fuller, who is solid with his GPA said he isn’t planning to sign in December and report early to his school of choice.
