Players Championship tickets would be the perfect Christmas gift for the golf enthusiast

It’s less than 80 days until the first round of the 2025 Players Championship.

More importantly, the number of shopping days until Christmas is dwindling fast.

For the golf enthusiast in the family, what better gift than a day or even a week at the PGA Tour’s flagship event on March 13-16 at the Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass?

Players tickets have been on sale since November and are currently available at no increase from the 2024 levels. But the time to buy is now because as demand increases closer to tournament week, tickets will be “dynamically priced,” based on demand.

Scottie Scheffler will be the two-time defending champion at The Players. The three-time PGA Tour Player of the Year was the first to win the tournament back-to-back in 2024 and he will be trying to match Jack Nicklaus’ record of three Players titles.

Also expected to play are other Tour stars such as past Players winners Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas and Jason Day, and major champions Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa and Wyndham Clark.

“We are committed to making this event accessible for all of Northeast Florida,” said Players Executive Director Lee Smith in a statement. “By maintaining affordable pricing and offering flexible, demand-based options, we’re ensuring that The Players Championship remains an event for everyone in the community.”

Players offers championship golf, fine dining

In addition to watching the deepest field in golf vie in the PGA Tour’s flagship event, the tournament also will feature more than 20 local restaurant offerings and the 37,000-square foot PGA Tour Fan Shop.

Fans can watch golf and eat and drink within sight of the best players in the world at hospitality venues or food trucks located on the course.

The Players has been contested on the First Coast since 1977 and has raised more than $110 million in charity since its first event in 1974 at the Atlanta Country Club.

Tickets can be purchased at THEPLAYERS.com/tickets, with prices starting as low as $30 plus taxes and fees. Fans can purchase up to six tickets per day, per account.

Fans who use Mastercard can enjoy preferred pricing for The Players and can purchase up to four Stadium passes per day, per account, as supplies last. Terms and conditions apply.

Players youth ticket policy

Up to two children 15 and younger can attend free with one ticketed adult. Children 6 and older will need a ticket to access hospitality venues.

Players military ticket policy

Military and veteran ticket packages will offer complimentary and discounted tickets for service members and veterans. The Military Appreciation Day will be March 11. Additional details will be released at a later date.

Hospitality venues at The Players

There are numerous options to purchase tickets for hospitality venues and private chalets at The Players, with information at theplayers.com. The Intracoastal Club will be a new venue between the 12th and 13th holes. The open-air location will have views of both holes, with TVs and upscale food and beverage options.

Players Championship parking

You might want to add parking to the gift package. Parking passes for The Players 2025 must be purchased in advance at theplayerscom/parking. A separate parking pass is required for each day of the tournament.

Parking passes will be digital and no parking will be sold on-site. Rideshare services will be available, with drop-off and pick-up at the Couples entry off ATP Boulevard and complimentary bicycle and golf cart parking.
