There might finally be a breakthrough for Victor Osimhen, as Al-Hilal reportedly agreed to pay Napoli the full €75m release clause and the Nigerian an eye-watering salary.
The striker was sent out on loan to Galatasaray last summer when the transfer window closed for the top leagues and nobody was anywhere near reaching the asking price.

A new contract was signed lowering the release clause to €75m from July 2025 and Napoli are now refusing to negotiate a single Euro lower.
According to multiple sources this afternoon, Al-Hilal accept that is the case and informed the club they are ready to pay the full sum.

Osimhen has also been offered an astounding salary, believed to be worth at least €30m per season plus bonuses.
Fabrice Hawkins even puts the figure at €40m net plus €5m in add-ons.
This kind of wage proposal and the personal pressure from new Al-Hilal coach Simone Inzaghi has been enough to seemingly tip the striker towards accepting this move.

Al-Hilal are still waiting for a response, as he flew out to Nigeria today from Istanbul, and hope to organise his medical tests for Sunday.
He had his heart set on the Premier League, but Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea all prioritised different targets.
Galatasaray too had tried to make an offer to keep him, though could not match the sheer financial power of the Saudi Pro League side.
The 26-year-old scored 37 goals with eight assists in 41 competitive games for Galatasaray this season.
