It’s a new era in Big Ten sports, and it already shows.
An inflatable duck representing Oregon was spotted Tuesday on the White River as the Big Ten football media days opened downtown.
Commissioner Tony Petitti announced that the conference football championship game will remain at Lucas Oil Stadium through 2028. Possible participants now include Oregon, Washington, USC and UCLA, who have boosted the league’s roll to 18 teams.

Oregon, known as a leader in flashy uniform design, wasted no time introducing itself to the rest of the conference.
The Ducks and Ohio State have been voted co-favorites for the conference championship.
