There has been plenty of rumors surrounding Notre Dame football and how committed 2025 quarterback [autotag]Deuce Knight[/autotag] is to the program.
The lefty has been heavily recruiting others to join him in South Bend, but others have been doing the same to get him to break his verbal. Unfortunately, it looks like that might end up being the case as On3’s Steve Wiltfong has logged a prediction for Knight to flip to Auburn.
This clearly is the worst-case scenario for Notre Dame, as they have already moved onto the upcoming classes at the position. Knight also is the highest rated recruit of the 2025 class, as he’s the No. 32 overall player in the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
What’s odd about Wiltfong’s choice is that all the smoke has been surrounding Knight and Ole Miss, not Auburn. It looks like the Notre Dame coaching staff has plenty of work to do to keep him in the class.
