TULSA, Okla. — It’s hard to make the cut at the U.S. Women’s Amateur. So much so, just over one-third of the golfers in the field make match play.
What started Monday morning with 156 players is almost down to 64 in the 2024 U.S. Women’s Amateur at Southern Hills Country Club. The cut came in at 9 over, but first, come Wednesday morning is a playoff for the final spots in match play. It will be a 20-for-10, the most players in a playoff in the history of the U.S. Women’s Amateur.
It will begin at 8:15 a.m. ET Wednesday. Match play is set to begin at 9:30 a.m. ET.
