Norwich boss planning for life with ‘valuable’ Idah

Norwich City head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup is planning for life with Celtic target Adam Idah.

The Republic of Ireland striker made his return for the English Championship side in their friendly defeat to Club Bruges on Wednesday.

Celtic have had a bid rejected to permanently sign the 23-year-old, who had impressive loan spell in Scotland in the second half of last season.

“It’s nice to have him back, he will be a valuable player for us,” new Norwich boss Thorup told club media.

“He’s been a part of the group for a little over a week. It was important for us to get him started and important for him to have some minutes.

“[During his performance] we saw what he can support this team with.”
