If you haven’t paid too much attention to the Big Ten as a USC football fan in recent years, you need to know something: Big Ten fans absolutely love the Big Ten commercial seen during Big Ten sports broadcasts throughout the year. The cartoon-like animation has stadiums, team logos, and regional landmarks spring up, moving from west to east with Rutgers being the final school in the sequence. Big Ten fans wanted to make sure the basic format and sequencing of the conference commercial did not change with USC, UCLA, Washington, and Oregon coming into the new 18-school league this year. Given that Aug. 2 marked the official entry date for USC, UCLA, Washington, and Oregon, the new Big Ten commercial is out. It’s live. Big Ten fans will be happy to know that no one messed with the format.
