Former MMA fighters Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal will face off at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, in a 10-round light heavyweight showdown on Saturday.
The Diaz (0-1)Â vs. Masvidal (1-0, 0 KOs)Â bout was originally slated for June 6, but was rescheduled a month out to Saturday, July 6. This significant change, made to avoid clashing with high-profile UFC events, ensures that the “Last Man Standing” boxing fight will draw a larger audience.
These two athletes last met in a UFC bout in 2019. The fighters competed in the inaugural BMF championship at UFC 244. Doctors stopped the fight after Diaz suffered a cut above the eye, and the victory went to Masvidal.
