The Texas Tech football team picked up a commitment Friday from Braylan McDonald, a defensive back from Lancaster who had pledged to Washington State.
McDonald, listed at 5-foot-11 and 185 pounds, will be a high school senior this season. In addition to Tech and Washington State, he’s attracted scholarship offers from Boston College, Texas-El Paso, Texas State, Arkansas State and Bowling Green, according to recruiting services.
He announced for Tech on social media.
The Red Raiders now have 18 commitments for their class of 2025, which can sign in December. McDonald is the fourth defensive back in the class.
