Aug. 7—EDINBURGH — A late location change had the Lady Pirates opening the girls’ golf season at Timbergate Golf Course in Edinburgh against Southwestern (Shelby).
Greensburg posted a team total 202 to open the season with a win. The Lady Spartans finished with 242.
Greensburg’s Kahlen Adams earned meet medalist honors by carding a 47.
Lydia Hersley was next for the Lady Pirates with a 51. Mary Harmon and Payton Bright both finished out the scoring for the Lady Pirates by carding 52.
Southwestern was led by Aurora Belton with a 55 and Sydney Griffin with a 57.
The Lady Pirates are back on the course Monday when they travel to FranklinG County for a 4:30 p.m. tee time.
