George Kambosos Jr. is making his super lightweight fighting debut this Saturday, when he’ll battle Jake Wyllie in Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena. The match is also Kambosos’ first on his home turf in nearly a decade. His opponent, Jake Wyllie, is a last-minute replacement for Daud Yordan, who was ruled out on medical grounds during fight week. This early-morning (for U.S. viewers, anyway) fight card will also feature Skye Nicolson vs. Tiara Brown for the WBC featherweight title and Cherneka Johnson vs. Nina Hughes for the WBA bantamweight title.
