Settles plays high school football for Parkview Magnet in Little Rock, winning the Class 5A State Championship in 2023. He ran for 979 yards and 20 touchdowns while also playing defensive back for the Patriots.
Settles becomes the 20th class of 2025 prospect to commit to Arkansas, and he is the second running back in the class. Markeylin Batton, a three-star prospect out of Texas, announced his pledge to the Hogs on Feb. 3.
Parkview Magnet will have no shortage of talent this fall. In addition to Settles, the Patriots have four-star safety Omarion Robinson and another three-star running back in Monterrio Elston. Robinson is headed to play for Brett Venables at Oklahoma, while Elston is a Kansas State commit. Both players were considering Arkansas before committing to their respective schools on July 6.
Earlier Saturday, the Hogs landed a pair of recruits in the 2026 class in Oklahoma natives Colton Yarbrough and Adam Auston.
According to the 247Sports Composite, Arkansas had the No. 27 recruiting class in the country prior to Settles jumping on board.
