Luís Campos has yet to sign a contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain where he acts as the club’s sporting advisor with his current deal expiring at the end of the season.
For several weeks, negotiations have been ongoing between the two parties but there is still no guarantee that they will be successful. L’Équipe have previously explained that neither Campos nor PSG are fully convinced by the idea of continuing their collaboration beyond the end of the season.
Despite this, Campos was provided with a significant endorsement from the current manager Luis Enrique who explained in his press conference today that he wants to continue the project with the sporting advisor. Luis Enrique stated, “I have daily contact with Luis… I started this project with him, and I spoke to him first when I arrived.”

Luis Enrique continued, “We don’t know what will happen, but clearly, I would like the future to be written with Luis Campos.” The two are thought to have worked closely with one another over the summer to shape the PSG project following the departure of Kylian Mbappé (25).
Both the manager and sporting advisor were convinced that the club needed to steer clear from attempting to secure a new star and should instead embrace a younger and less established profile of player.
