There were two GO Junior Golf Series events last week that were series championships for younger age groups, and all the age groups in the Southern Series Championship.
The Southern Series Championship was Thursday at Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club. Tour winners were determined by points accumulated throughout the summer.
Jaxson Crook from Madisonville was tour champion and Ben Warren from Owensboro was tour runner-up in boys 8-under. Sawyer Stanley from Madisonville was tour champion and Tyler McClain was tour runner-up in boys 9-10.
Paxton Divine from Owensboro was tour champion and Maddox Embry from Owensboro was tour runner-up in boys 11-12.
Lemuel Wright from Harned was tour champion (77) in boys 13-15, 18 holes. Cooper Embry from Morgantown was tour runner-up.
Michael Terry from Madisonville was tour champion and Owensboro’s Will Hume was tour runner-up in boys 16-18, 18 holes.
Ainsley Morris from Central City was girls 9-10 tour champion and Owensboro’s Scarlett Kamuf was tour runner-up.
Ella Perry from Hopkinsville was tour champion in girls 11-12 and A.J. Ratliff from Madisonville was tour runner-up.
Molly Amos from Beaver Dam was tour champion in girls 13-15, 18 holes and Reagan Ramsey from Madisonville was tour runner-up.
Gracie Galyen from Dunmor was tour champion in girls 16-18, 18 holes. Maggie Blair from Custer was tour runner-up.
The 3- and 6-hole Go Junior Golf Series Northern Division Championship was last week at Ben Hawes Golf Course in Owensboro.
Jaxon Cook from Madisonville was the tour champion for 3-hole, 8-under boys. Connor Hudson from Dixon was the tour runner up for 3-hole, 8-under boys. Easton Fogle from Owensboro was the first flight winner (15).
Adley Cox from Clarkson was the girls 8-under, 3-hole tour champion. Reagan Reynolds from Harned was the first flight winner (19).
Scott Ralston from Madisonville was the boys 9-10, 6-holes tour champion. Sawyer Stanley from Madisonville was the tour runner-up. Tyler McClain from Madisonville was the first flight winner (27).
Ainsley Morris from Central City was the girls 9-10, 6-holes tour champion, and was also the first flight winner by playoff (31).
