At long last, Florida State football fans can play as the Seminoles with the release of College Football 25.
The last time EA Sports released a college football video game was 2013 with NCAA Football 14. Back then, gamers couldn’t play as Jameis Winston: Instead, QB #5 was under center for FSU. Now with NIL rules in place, player names and likenesses are in the game for the first time, meaning FSU fans can take the digital field with DJ Uiagalelei, Patrick Payton and the rest of the Seminoles. (Sorry, FAMU fans, you’re not in the game just yet.)

Is College Football 25 out? What is the release date?
The game is out now for those who preordered, but the official release date is Friday, July 19.
The game will not be released for PC. It will be available only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Consoles from the previous generation, the PS4 and Xbox One, will not be able to play College Football 25.
College Football 25 price: How much is College Football 25?
The Standard Edition of the game costs $69.99. The Deluxe Edition goes for $99.99. The MVP Edition, which also includes Madden 25, is $149.99.
