Warrington Wolves captain Stefan Ratchford has signed a new contract until the end of next season.
The versatile 35-year-old will take his Wire career into a 14th year with the deal, having made 339 appearances for the club since joining them from Salford in 2012.
Ratchford, who can play full-back, centre or in the halves, has won two Challenge Cups and a League Leaders’ Shield with Warrington as well as collecting six England caps.
Warrington are second in the Super League table, with Ratchford’s consistent kicking a feature of their success. He broke the Super League record and equalled the world record for most consecutive successful kicks when he reached 41 earlier this season.
“We’re thrilled to have secured Stef for another 12 months,” Wire head coach Sam Burgess told the club website.
“He’s the ultimate professional, a club legend and a strong voice around the group.
“His versatility and willingness to do whatever the team requires, combined with his extensive experience, makes him a really valued player in our squad.”
