Arsenal have signed Netherlands goalkeeper Daphne van Domselaar from Aston Villa.
Van Domselaar made 14 league appearances for Villa last season following a move from Dutch side Twente, keeping two clean sheets, before she injured her hip in March and missed the rest of the campaign.
The 24-year-old said Arsenal was “the right place” for her to “win trophies and achieve big things”.
Van Domselaar represented her country at both Euro 2022 and the 2023 Women’s World Cup.
Arsenal manager Jonas Eidevall said he was “delighted” to sign a goalkeeper who would be a “strong addition” to their team.
He added: “She is a top goalkeeper and already has considerable experience on some of the biggest stages, while we believe she has a great deal of potential for future development, too.”
The Gunners, who did not disclose Van Domselaar’s contract length, finished third in the Women’s Super League last year.
