Alabama football has landed its first commitment in its 2027 recruiting class.
Ba’Roc Willis, a 6-foot-3, 220-pound edge rusher out of Moody High School in Moody, Alabama, announced his pledge to the Crimson Tide on Tuesday, Willis told On3.
Willis chose coach Kalen DeBoer and the Crimson Tide over a total of 15 offers, including those from the likes of SEC foes Auburn, Tennessee and LSU. He is not yet ranked per the 247Sports Composite.
Willis originally was offered by Alabama and coach Nick Saban on Dec. 15. He took a visit to Alabama’s junior day in February and was recently in Tuscaloosa at Alabama’s Champions Cook-Out event on Sunday.
