Caleb Cunningham, the top-rated prospect in Mississippi from the 2025 recruiting class, has committed to Alabama football, he told On3 on Saturday.
Cunningham, an Ackerman, Mississippi native from Choctaw County High School, picked the Crimson Tide over a total of 26 offers, including those from Auburn, Ole Miss, Florida, Tennessee and Mississippi State. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound wide receiver is tabbed as the top-rated player in Mississippi in the 2025 cycle and the second-ranked wide receiver in the class per the 247Sports Composite. He ranks No. 14 nationally amongst the 2025 cycle.
The five-star prospect joins an Alabama 2025 recruiting class that ranked No. 2 in the nation prior to his commitment per 247Sports Composite. He is the second wide receiver in the class alongside three-star prospect Lotzeir Brooks out of Millville, New Jersey.
During his junior year at Choctaw County, Cunningham caught 48 passes for 1,138 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also plays basketball and runs track and field.
Cunningham took his official visit to the Capstone over the weekend of June 21.
