Aiden Hall commits to LSU football: What to know of 2026 college football safety recruit


LSU football added elite help in the defensive backfield for its 2026 recruiting class.

Aiden Hall, a four-star, top-60 recruit, announced his commitment to the Tigers on Saturday, as reported by “LSU Tigers on Sports Illustrated.”

Hall picked LSU over offers from Alabama, Ole Miss, Florida State, Georgia, Texas and Texas A&M, among others. According to 247Sports’ Composite rankings, he is the No. 53 overall prospect, the No. 6 safety and No. 5 player in Louisiana.

Hall becomes the second player from Edna Karr in the Tigers’ 2026 recruiting class, joining defensive tackle Richard Anderson‍. The rest of the LSU class also has a heavy New Orleans theme, as offensive lineman Jalan Chapman (Warren Easton) and safety Jakai Anderson (McDonogh 35) also hail from the city. The class currently ranks No. 5 in 2026, per 247 Sports. Richard Anderson was the first player in the class, committing in June.

As a sophomore in 2023, the 6-foot, 180-pound safety also played snaps at nickel and helped Edna Karr to a 10-2 record and the Louisiana Division I Select state semifinals.

Per 247Sports’ Composite rankings, Hall is the No. 53 player in the class. He’s also the No. 6 safety and No. 5 player from the state of Louisiana.

LSU football 2026 recruiting rankings

LSU’s 2026 recruiting class currently ranks fifth nationally and second in the SEC, behind only Auburn at No. 2 overall. The Tigers have four commits, including two four-star recruits and two three-star recruits.
