Former Cincinnati Bengals star receiver Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson wants to see how his speed matches up with that of Kentucky football and former Pearl-Cohn receiver Barion Brown.
On Tuesday, Johnson posted on the ‘X’ platform, formerly Twitter, that he saw Brown in the new EA Sports College Football 25 video game and noticed his speed.
“Now I want to race (him),” Johnson wrote, while tagging Brown’s account. Brown replied that he was ready to race any time.
“Say less, easy work for me,” Johnson replied.
Johnson earned six Pro Bowl invitations as a member of the Bengals from 2001-10. He’s been playful on social media lately, teasing on Instagram that he would be open to returning to Cincinnati to play with quarterback Joe Burrow.

Many college football players are getting to see themselves in a video game for the first time because of new NCAA name, image and likeness laws. The NCAA Football video game franchise halted in 2013 due to player likeness without compensation. Now, EA Sports is paying players in exchange for their likeness to the tune of $600 and a free copy of the game.
