Mike Carroll, the five-star football recruit who has committed to play at Alabama, won’t be at Central Bucks East for what would have been his senior season this fall.
Instead, Carroll, along with his younger brother Liam, a rising sophomore wide receiver, have both transferred to national football powerhouse IMG Academy, a prep boarding school in Bradenton, Fla. Mike Carroll made the announcement on X (formerly Twitter) earlier this afternoon.
IMG Academy finished No. 4 in the country in the final USA Today national rankings last season.
The 6-foot-7, 310-pound Carroll is ranked as the No. 1 interior lineman in the Class of 2025 and had numerous college offers, including from Michigan, Penn State and Georgia, before he decided to commit to Alabama.
