Manchester United are set to complete the signing of Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee on Friday, on a four-year deal with the option of a one-year extension according to The Athletic.
A deal for the 23-year-old forward has been mooted for some time now, but he was on duty with the Netherlands in EURO 2024 until their semi-final exit on Wednesday night.
Now though, the signing can be completed, and the report suggests the fee will be in the region of €42.5 million, spread over three years.
Zirkzee helped Bologna to an unlikely Champions League qualification spot last season, scoring 11 goals in 34 appearances for the Serie A side, and was also rumoured to be subject to interest from Juventus, Milan and Arsenal.
