Thelin on Miovski & still having ‘eyes on transfer market’

Aberdeen boss Jimmy Thelin insists Bojan Miovski is “giving everything” as rumours persist over the striker’s future at the club.

Miovski, who found the net 26 times last season, played just 45 minutes of the club’s League Cup group stage campaign, and has been linked with a move away from Pittodrie.

“Let’s see. When a window is open, it’s open. You never know exactly what is going to happen,” Thelin told Sky Sports.

“We need to be prepared, be ready, but keep our focus on what we are doing today and grow as a team.

“In the training sessions and games, everyone has taken the challenge in a good way. I’m happy with what they are showing and how we are progressing. But you always have to have an eye open on the transfer market.

“He [Miovski] is still an Aberdeen player. And he behaves like an Aberdeen player. My feeling, when I see him training and behaving in the dressing room, is that everything is perfect.

“When he came on the pitch in the game [versus Airdrieonians], he showed to everybody he is still here in his mind and giving everything to the club. I’m happy with how he is performing.”
