PSG’s penultimate pre-season friendly saw them throw away a two goal lead to settle for a draw against Sturm Gratz at the 28 Black Arena.
Luis Enrique’s side, who are still adapting to Kylian Mbappé‘s departure this summer, flew into an early 2-0 lead as goals from young talent Ibrahim Mbaye and Carlos Soler put them ahead against the Austrian side.
But Sturm Gratz weren’t going down without a fight and pulled one back almost immediately through teenager Amady Camara, who chased down a defensive mistake before poking the ball past Matvey Safonov in the PSG goal.
And just before half time they drew level courtesy of an excellent effort from Kiteishvili, with the Georgian midfielder thundering home an effort from just outside the PSG penalty area.
Half time saw Sturm Gratz change all ten of their outfield players, but they remained a threat against the French champions, with both sides probing for an opening.
PSG fans were treated to the first look at new signing João Neves as he was introduced on the hour mark alongside fellow midfield signing Gabriel Moscardo.
And the French side continued to dominate the ball but could create little against a stubborn Austrian side.
