Luton Town have completed the signing of former Arsenal youth star Reuell Walters.
Walters initially came through Tottenham’s academy before going the short distance across north London to join the Gunners in 2020.
The 19-year-old was a regular in Arsenal’s youth side and was named on the bench eight times by Mikel Arteta last term.
But after failing to make an appearance, he mutually agreed to leave the Emirates over the summer to pursue opportunities elsewhere.
And it’s the Hatters where Walters has ended up with Rob Edwards’ side beating off competition from a number of other Championship clubs for his signature.
“I’m really excited by the challenge ahead,” Walters told Luton’s official website.
“I think I resonate with all the club’s beliefs.
“I like the style of play, I get along with Rob really well and there are a few friendly faces from the past here as well.”
Luton kick off their new Championship campaign at home to Burnley on 12 August.
