Ipswich Town have announced the arrival of West Brom defender Conor Townsend.
As the Tractor Boys gear up for their long-awaited Premier League return, the 31-year-old represents their sixth signing of the window.
Townsend signs for an undisclosed fee, which is reported to be in the region of £500,000, and penned a two-year deal at Portman Road.
“I’m delighted to be here. To play in the Premier League again is a big challenge for me,” he told the club’s official website. “This kind of opportunity doesn’t come around very often so I jumped at the chance.
The full-back, who came through the ranks at Hull City, made 46 appearances in all competitions for the Baggies last season.
