Bournemouth have completed the signing of Juventus defender Dean Huijsen.
The promising centre-back joins Andoni Iraola’s side for a reported £12.6m (€15m) after 18 months’ frontline experience.
Huijsen, who has signed a six-year contract, made his Juve debut last October before embarking on a half-season loan with Roma.
“We are delighted to bring in a player of such high calibre on a long-term deal,” said Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake.
“Dean is someone that has such exciting potential and we are all excited to see where his journey with the club will go.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming him to Vitality Stadium and working together to help develop further all the qualities that he already possesses.”
Spain under-21 international Huijsen becomes the Cherries’ fourth signing of the summer.
