🚨 Bayern Munich sign João Palhinha a year after first trying

Bayern Munich have finally confirmed the signing of midfielder João Palhinha from Fulham.

The Portugal international was originally set to move to the Allianz Arena last summer but a deadline day switch collapsed as the Cottagers could not source a replacement.

In both of his seasons with Fulham, Palhinha recorded the most tackles of any player in the Premier League and has long been a target for Bayern.

Now Bayern have succeeded at a second time of asking, sealing a deal worth a reported €51m with €5m in future add-ons.

Palhinha made 79 appearances for the Cottagers during a two-season spell, scoring eight times.
