Real Sociedad have confirmed that defender Robin Le Normand will join Atlético de Madrid this summer.
Le Normand has spent the past seven years with La Real where he has played nearly 170 LaLiga games and won the Copa del Rey in 2019/20.
And now it’s been confirmed that the Spain international will leave the Basque country this summer and join the capital club.
There have been no further details from Atleti, who put out this brief statement on Saturday morning.
Atlético de Madrid and Real Sociedad have reached an agreement for the transfer of Robin Le Normand, which will be formalised in the next few days, when the player returns from the holidays he is enjoying after winning the EURO 2024 with Spain on 14 July.

This can be seen as something of a coup for Atleti with Le Normand seen as one of the most sought-after centre-backs in Europe this summer after his starring role for Spain at EURO 2024.
