🚨 Aston Villa re-sign Jaden Philogene from Hull City

Aston Villa have completed the re-signing of winger Jaden Philogene from Hull City.

Philogene left Villa Park last summer for the Championship outfit but held a reported £13m buy-back option.

Unai Emery’s side have now exercised that option with the Tigers following a bidding war between several Premier League clubs.

Everton and newly promoted Ipswich Town were among those leading the chase for Philogene prior to the Villans activating their clause.

The 22-year-old made just six senior appearances during a first spell in the Midlands sandwiched between loan spells at Stoke and Cardiff City.
