Albert Sambi Lokonga has completed his season-long loan move from Arsenal to Sevilla.
The deal reportedly includes a €12m option for Sevilla to buy the midfielder permanently next summer, with Arsenal retaining a 25% sell-on clause if that were to happen.
Lokonga came through the youth system at Anderlecht before moving to Arsenal in the summer of 2021. The Belgian made 39 first-team appearances for the Gunners, before leaving on loan to Crystal Palace in January 2023.
He spent last season on loan at Luton Town, making 19 appearances as the club were relegated from the Premier League.
The 24-year-old now heads to LaLiga, where he will hope to make an impact in GarcÃa Pimienta’s Sevilla side.
